Race 4 concluded today indoors at Minnreg Hall in Largo, FL. Iw was the frst time in several years the series ran indoors on carpet. Taking victorys today included Paul Wynn in 13.5, Robert Falcon took Novak 17.5 honors. Jim Sowa continued his dominance in the Masters Class. We also saw the return of 12th scale racing, it [...] Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and another great year of racing from the crewof the Florida State Series. Race 3 came to a conclusion Sunday and there was plenty of action. Taking the Modified class was Dave Franklin, Austin Harrison took top honors in the 13.5 class. Jim Sowa continued his fast pace by taking the Masters class, while the World GT class was won by John Manikis. Finally taking top honors in [...] At the third race of the season, we put the new weight rules established by Roar to a vote. For all the remainder of the season the new weight will be 50.0 ozs. This will bring the series in line with IIC/Roar (1-1-10) and the Snowbirds/FCC (Minnreg). Race 2 results are in the book, it was a great weekend of racing at Superior Hobbies. Taking Pro Modified was Dave Franklin, winning 13.5 was Dave Bowser, Dave held off TQ Austin Harrison for the last 3:30 minutes to take the win. In 17.5, Kyle Eden was the car to beat, taking both the [...] Florida Onroad State Series @ Superior Hobbies October 24th and 25th.
