Message to the Racers

Welcome racers, families, friends and guests to the Florida State
Electric Auto Racing Association (FSEARA), the longest running radio
control club in the nation, celebrating Thirty Years (1980-2010) of
racing excellence, sportsmanship and leadership to the R/C industry. We
wouldn’t’ have made it this far without the support of the racers,
their families and those individuals who had a vision of the state
series being something great today, like Rocky Hagan, Eddie Herman,
Jerry Wynn, Kenny Holmes, Art Carbonell, Bill Fraden, Bill Lafoe,
Steve Whitney, Bob Hall, Troy Schaffer, myself and many more. Thanks
to the hobby shops, sponsors, Host clubs, tracks, promoters and to
the many great drivers who have participated in our series back then
and today. We have come to a new season and a new era of racing, we
would like to continue the excellence’s and sportsmanship of the state
series for many years to come. Without your support it won’t happen, so
please support your series. I would like to Congratulations our class
champions of 2009 Michael Bruce with 2 championships Pro-Modified and
Novak 17.5, Dave Bowser Expert 10.5 and Jim Sowa in the Masters Stock
Class.
This season will be a one day race on Sundays; Saturdays will be
practice or a practice race section at the discretion of the host club.
Rain delays are three hours before cancellation be determine by state
and race director. Race tires will be Xenon, two sets allowed to
purchase, Twenty Five dollars per set only one set allowed to be check
in to race. This years team is Tony Munno vice director and tech
director, Tim Caporal score keeper and Dave Martin web master. We are
committed to make your racing experience a memorable one. Race one will
be hosted by MB Racing at Strickland Park Daytona Beach Fl, September
27, 2009. We hope to see new racers and our old racers come out to
support our series for the new season. We guaranty you won’t regret
being part of this racing family and the excitement this series bring.
This year awards Banquet dinner will be held at Buca di Beppo-Daytona
Beach, Saturday 26, 2009 at PM sharp.
